It is alright to say that Mumbai; Mumbai just happens to be near Maharashtra, Otherwise Maharashtrians can put no claim over it. Because Mumbai today is what it is not at all because of Maharashtrians.
But in the interest of future of this great city why not to evolve a acceptable formula to stop further influx to this city? Otherwise it be a mess and its greatness will be destroyed.
