Islam like every other religion has to evolve.. Main problems are: 1. Total absence of enquiry and rational enquiry of what Quran says. Its like IF you think anything against what i said, you are a kafir...here take a fatwa.. "O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith." (Quran. 5:101-102)
2. Institutionalized hate in the name of Jihad. Might have been relevant in 9th century can't rationalise how but..!!! "Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection." Qur'an 9:29
3. Instituionalized victimization of women: Qur'an 4:11 and 2:282 declare that a woman is only half the worth of a man in terms of witness and inheritance
Muslim borthers please think rationaly...the whole world once thought world was flat and we all called the guy who said differently was wrong..!! but now we know better...
don't accept any doctrine from any religion or leader without thouroughly analyzing it. It applies to what i have written here as well.
let's all evolve as humans that's what we are..!! nothing more nothing less..!!
