I urge all citizens who want a better place for themselves , their family and their children to stop buying goods from the hawkers and thellas. You are inadvertently encouraging them to flourish and increase in numbers. This is what brings them to Mumbai. Its simple .. you want to help beggars then dont give them alms - this will reduce the no. of beggars ... we need to apply the same policy... you dont want North Indians to come to Mumbai dont give them encouragement. Beating them is no solution.
