Thanks to Raj Marathi, Gujrat police INCOME increases
by sanjay kumar on Feb 12, 2008 04:39 PM

Raj marathi strated his anger (read frustration) describing huge gathering at chhat puja (after Divali) as the show of strength by Biharis. Although it is a purely religious gathering (like kumbh at NASIK, PRYAG, HARIDWAR, etc) taking place everywhere in Bihar and UP at the bank of rivers, ponds, and lakes.
BIHARIS celeberate Vasant Panchmi and performs Saraswati Puja on this day. In Gujrat this time they have to take police permission to organise bhajan sandhya and use of loudspeaker. The average bribe per permission per pandal was between Rs.5000- Rs. 11000 in South Gujrat Area.
Thanks to Raj Thakrey, Gujrat Police earning has enhanced.
