conti (My place is flooded with rich brahmin sweet-mart purohit who study only till 10 and even the boys get married at the age of 18).So you see in olden days brahmins by doing brahmin job did not earned much,certainly they were not super rich,lus that requires lot of hard studies,which others did not seem necessary to indulge in ,as they were not obliged to study vedas(even now though veda teaching is availabe for all to do,still we dont go for it.)hence the people who do the this job are respected,that's it.
