You are cunningly concealing the other side of the story. Fishermen, for example, were not allowed to get educated and not allowed to switch over to other jobs. So fishermen were compelled to continue fishing by force. Consequently they never climbed the ladder. This changed only due to western education thanks to missionaries. Now I have seen many teachers, lawyers, doctors,etc in fishermen community.
