You got converted...may be good for you...but dont generalize things..ok.. Religion is not meant for benefits...if one religion gives u more benefit and dignity in society it doesnt mean u should jump in to that religion. Religion is just a way of life....like different rivers follow different paths to reach the ocean... Remember, lot of illiterates only have got converted to christianity in Africa/Asia...and few literates like you have got in because of many favours Ocean water may look like reducing while evapourating...but it can raise the level when heavy rains pour...so Hinduism have grown and will grow like Ocean water...dont worry
