Baba Amte has been one of the greatest living Indians with the yeoman services done to humanity. The Magsaysay award means little to his stature and am surprised when people were fighting for nominating people for the Bharat Ratna this year nobody remembered the crusader. The Indian Governments long standing tendency to recognise people posthumously is a sign of the lackluster attitude of the people sitting in power in Delhi. Anyways Baba was above all awards!
