dear dilip,maharahtra is an exception to india,vidharbha was carved out from mp,nagpur was its capital.marathwada was carved out from nizam hydrabad.and rest of maharstra,mumbai and goa was carved our from gujrat on 1st may 1958.chavan was 1 st chief minister.that is why we lots of gujju,telgu,bhaiyyas,marwari,lingayats,kannada.they all can speak their own language alon with their mothertongue.we marathis also talk in hindi better than other states for e.g raj uddhavand bala has better.i beleive u have better hindi.like all member of yr family.its not coincidence.its history no one can change this bala was not able to this for 50 yrs,raj wont be able to it
