Bihari Taxi or honest Maharashtrians :-)
by Mohammad Cadri on May 04, 2008 12:41 AM

I for one, have never supported violence in the name of religion. In Mumbai, Muslims have been persecuted for so long by the Shiv Sena. Still, they somehow withstood the onslaught and have only come back stronger in this metropolis. Even the most biased BJP supporter cannot deny that.
Coming to people from Bihar and UP, a lot has been said about them. One interesting note made by a Maharashtrian gentleman was the amount of "dadagiri" carried out by the taxi and autorickshaw drivers. This holds true for taxi drivers and the entire profession is dominated by UPites and Bihari's. This is totally wrong and our brethern from these two states who are in this profession must change their attitude.

Coming to Maharashtrians, although I have deep respect for Mr. Balasaheb Thackeray for various reasons, the others don't deserve one ounce of respect. I have had to move in courts and especially the Family Court. One of the main judges in the court was a Maharashtrian. He so sadly has been promoted to the High Court (just because there was a dearth of justices at the High Court or he may have had political connections) and it's sad! There has been a strong rumour in the Family Court that he was so biased because of reasons best understood. Especially when it's a girl who is slightly pretty and has filed a case. The court had stooped to such levels and I must say very sadly that if Maharashtrians do not get rid of such corrupt people, their "mata - motherland" will curse them and drive
