A Wannabe

How much ground has Raj gained after forming the MNS. Nothing. All that fire was good when he was with his uncle. It worked because he was with his uncle. Simply by immitating the tiger one does not become a tiger.

I have never approved the methods of Shiv Sena. Yet I admit that Bal Thackeray has made a formidable Sena over the decades with quite an effort. Raj is just trying the short cut with borrowed tactics.

As regards the issue of migrants, shouldn't common sense prevail on the polity, that the capacity of Mumbai has been sretched beyond its limits a long time ago. The practical approach should be to limit migration of any sort. Not attacking them or chasing them using terror.

Undoubtly, the civic bodies have a right to work towards such a policy untill Mumbai is capable of accomodating more in the future. Parallely it can provide better living standards and opportunities to everyone, irrespective whether they are Marathi Manuus or Bhaiyaas.
