The subject isn't India. The subject is Pakistan's safety record. The U.S. and Russia have a longer history of nuclear activity and are pioneers of the safer form of nuclear technologies that are used by most modern nuclear powers. The two will by default, have poorer safety records. Moreover, in open societies, such incidents are hard to hide. Such a standard cannot be expected of countries run by military establishments with a muzzled media.
