I am a Indian first and then after that am proudly a Mumbaikar. Am a mumbaikar. If anyone really wants to know whom does Mumbai belongs to, its Konkani people. But infact, a place is built by people who toil for it. 300 years ago, it was parsis, gujaratis and marathis who built this place. As time changed, people from all parts of the country came to Mumbai and made this the commercial capital of India. Am a mumbaikar, I stand for the spirit of this city, I stand for the energy it gives me to work hard all day and take a deep breath standing by the marine drive and feel life in me. Am a mumbaikar, and the only criteria to be a mumbaikar is to work hard and enjoy the taste of different cultures it gives me. I admire the spirit of the people of UP and Bihar, who live in adverse circumstances but still make a living by working hard and do not resort to suicides as it happens in other parts of the country as a result of abject poverty. Long live Mumbai...and Mr Raj Thackeray...do not insult the spirit of mumbai!
