Any performance evaluation shall be under field condition. e.g for law students - set up trial courts and bring in all the petty cases languishing for a long time in our courts. Let these law students argue for and against the case under the watchful eyes of seasoned lawers. May be case takes to a logical end and student's performane gets measured. Similary any other stream of students can be taken to the location where their capability can be tested!
