All of us Know the Single Most Resistance against Caste System was done by Gautam Buddha. The same Vivekananda, Ambedkar, Sitaram Goel and Other Eminent Historians said that " It is Islam which Destroyed the Religion of Buddha in India and wherever it went" Best example is the recent destruction of Bamiyan Buddha's and joy of Talibans in doing so.
Therefor even though conversion to Islam brought 'equality' to masses of India, it took away from them the culture, art and science . please look at the kind of lives Afghans and pashtuns are leading now and before when they were Buddhists.
Add in addition to all these the cross culture patriotism. A most sincere Muslim also respects adores Arabic culture bcoz its in his religion.
The result of which is the two nation theory and partition and massacres associated with it.
So all me to say Islam ig good and Not Best.
And there are Better Alternatives to combat caste inequalities.
