I wonder if the Indian polticians ever have the guts to provide better facilities for the disabled. In developed countries , buses, railway stations, airports, schools, colleges, offices and tourist spots are handicap accessible. Arjun Singh pretends as if he is a champion of the downtrodden masses. Here are people who are really downtrodden (more so than SC/ST/OBC), does Arjun Singh have the guts and humanity needed to bring in legislation that woulld really benefit people in difficulty but does not necessarily have political gains? I guess not. This is the sad state we are in.
However, it is wrong to blame only politicians, they are our mirror images. There is dishonesty and impoliteness every where in Indian society. I and you are the ones who should first change
