The poor doctor has no case against the airline after he unfortunately pleaded guilty to misdemeanor during flight,based upon expediency and improper legal advice and that would have res-judicata effect upon his claim that he may file against the airline.
Had he been acquitted,then he could claim for damages from the airline.
In view of pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges,the good doctor should worry about losing his medical license, where he will be collaterally estopped from defending his license by relitigating the incident on the airline.
