Darkest Day of Modern India
by Ranajit Bhattacharyya on Aug 09, 2008 01:50 AM

Today must be the darkest day of modern India.
1. 80 Heads of States or Senior Functionaries witnessed the opening ceremony. When their respective contingents walked in, the TV camera focussed on the dignitory. "The Indian Contingent Walks in, Who do we see"..Sonia Gandhi, of course. Not the Prime Minister, not the President of the country, not the Sports Minister, not the Indian IOC member.
2. First time ever no Indian Hockey Team at the Olympics.

LONG LIVE INDIA!!
