NDA read BJP resisted from signing the NPT and CTBT and became a pariah nation and had sanctions imposed post Pokhran II against India, until India promised not to test again. This, of course, is history, but then BJP/NDA opposition to the N-Deal rests on India's prerogative of conducting a test should it consider necessary. Let's watch and see what UPA does.
