Dear PKN, the largest NGO in the world is "Prajapita Brahmakumaris" How many of us have heard their name? The missionaries spend more money on publicity than on actual charity. Even Mother Teresa was not an exception to this. That is why we hear the names of Christian charitable organizations. As far as education is concerned, it is just a money making venture. The Christian managements demand hefty donations from the followers of their religions also. And wonder of wonder, all the obscurantist forces in Kerala (NSS/SNDP/Muslim Education Sciety/various denominations of Chruches/etc are hand-in-glove in opposing the reofrms in education sector. Even the first Communist Govt headed by the late EMS was brought down by the Chruches for the reforms in education sector (initiated by none other than the late Prof. Joseph Mundassery).
