We have a saying (muhawara or kahawat) "Buddha sathia gaya hai" old man is over-optimistic. The long time rulers lost their senses and had over-dose of it. Yet they feel that they only are still good to rule for their lifetime. So even over 80 are not to retire. Many old like Arjun Singh were brought back by Congress. Some are like all arounders good for any post. Some are specialists like FM Yashwant Sinha, PC, economist (projects as teacher) Asim Dasgupta.
