Are Thamizhians Hindus?
by Agnostic on Aug 04, 2008 04:09 PM

Let the centre take census bases on religion with an option of Dravidian Religion. I am sure majority of Thamizians (except Brahmins) will choose Dravidian Religion. We are not Hindus, We are Dravidians.

Hinduism is imposed on us by the British when they framed personal laws (They framed Muslim Personal Law for Muslims based on Sharia, Christian Personal Law for Christians based on Bible, for the rest of the people they created a common law called Hindu Personal Law). So it not correct that Dravidians chose to be Hindus. It is rather imposed on us.
