We should not assume without proof (which does not exist) that Pakistan was the creation of Muslims.
Logically the Upper Hindus too might have done it as an act of "Good Riddance", and merely sold the idea to Mr. Jinnah, et al.
Communal separation, a kind of Apartheid, was not a sound idea. All the trouble is because neither the Pakistanis could remove "Hindu" India from their minds nor we Indians could remove them from ours.
So apparently well meaning Communal Separation never really took off. The situation has two possible outcomes: (a) Carry the fight beyond the point of return, which in today's terms means fight with full use of Nuclear Weapons. (b) Merge the two countries back into one entity to psychologically erase They versus We from all minds.
It is any body's guess which one will actually materialize, but I feel the probability of (b) is far less than of (a).
Therefore I believe that if nuclear war is inevitable, let it happen in our time rather than our Children's, and let it be We who start it rather than be surprised by others. No use delaying the inevitable.
Not many would support the conclusions (mainly because it sounds so harsh), but let some one come out with better reasoning.
