Does it Help to Pin Blame on Others?
by Satya Banerji on Aug 03, 2008 01:17 PM

Shoddy police work and blatant violation of laws by political heavyweights are our indigenous problems. Most Indian terrorists have never been convicted, and those celebrities who have, wonder free without completing their sentences. Dr. Singh and his team harp on the recent incident in Kabul: what about the Samjhauta Express in which Pakistanis were prominent victims? I find that Raj Thackeray is able to carry on the violent traditions of his mother-party: which SAARC country would the government like to blame for this? Why does Dr. Singh's administration drag its feet on the execution of the Supreme Court sentence on the attacker of our Parliament? You may buy a trust vote, but not the collective feelings of the people you are sworn to serve.
