Rajani's apology
by ramakrishnan balasubramanian on Aug 02, 2008 11:53 AM

Apologising for the bad language used against the Karnataka brethern is not bad. It's good. But the timing is most important. If Rajani had apologised soon after he made the speech, it would have enhanced prestige. Apology coming at the time of release of his film smacks of opportunism and selfish. With this apology what does he want to say. Does he still stand firm that Tamil Nadu should get the water for which he made the unpleasant comments. A lot of answers are required from him. As a non-resident Tamilian, I don't know how far the people of the State have been benefitted becos of him, but I can certainly say that he has been a bad influence on the Tamil youth. While I feel that the two brotherly states Karnataka and Tamil Nadu should sit together and settle the problems once for all, selfish people like Rajani should not be brought into picture either by TN or by KN
