So far,Vohra has proved to be a complete failure, he has been doing the job of pouring fuel into fire at the behest of Mufti and co., whose existence in politics is dependent upon the militancy in the valley. Mufti while in congress, has never been able to win an election from Kashmir till 2002, after getting defeated from Kashmir, he used to contest election from Jammu for getting elected on Congress ticket. In VP Singh's government, he became home minister of India after getting into Lok Sabha from BIHAR,on Janata Dal ticket, not Kashmir. In 1989-90 During his tenure as Union home minister he fully watered the plant of terrorism in Kashmir after having sowed the seeds of terrorism,having gone for a rehearsal in 1987. Knowing that he had no political standing in the valley of Kashmir, he and his divorced daughter openly used the militancy and militants in the previous elections. Having been in power for about 6 years in the state, they realised that they had no face to face the common Kashmiri, they devised a plan to raise a non issue, of which they were a party while in government,to exploit the sentiments of Kashmiri muslims, undermining the sentiments of Jammu people,whom they have been taking for granted.
