Lets see...one month before Punjab and Uttarakhand polls last year, CNN-IBN declared incumbent Congress gov't in both states had a 10% lead. In UP, Congress expected to make vast improvements in tally and vote percentage, and instead ended up in its most pathetic state ever. In Gujarat, how can we forget the beautiful charts and pre-poll statistics about how every social group was turning against Modi, rebels were going to completely destroy the BJP votebank, etc. etc...
So that can only tell me, if CNN-IBN is declaring a clear majority for the Congress in Karnataka, it is basically doomed to perform miserably.
