ofcourse not.Even some of the great scientists like RAZI (who is credited for for so many chemical breajthroughs ) is actually a heretic.and there are many example of people lived in Muslim civilizatiosn were non-muslims. But this doesnt take away the fact that islam gave intense incentive to the pursuit of science because the fundamental quranic principle is you can belive in the unity of god only by understanding the nature and its creations.
