What is the definition of Secular when Politicians cannot follow

A Muslim should win froma Brahmin area. A christain should win from a Lingayat area. A Dalit from the Forward caste area.

Instead our parties just speak abt secularism but when it comes to fielding their candidates they follow the majority in that area
