This gentleman does not seem to have learnt any lessons from history. Banning anything drives it underground and then instead of honest people making a living out of that activity the mafia takes over and drives a whole society into criminal activity. Prohibition in America, Gujarat, Andhra, Tamil Nadu - he does not seem to have learnt any lessons from this. Near Delhi are the famous Red Sand (Badarpur) deposits in the Aravalli hills the mining of which is banned by Supreme Court orders. The mafia supports this ban and would be highly disappointed to see it lifted. This mafia is also into politics and quite successful at it too.
