PIL if promise is broken
by Rohit ezhuthachan on Apr 25, 2008 09:41 AM

Congress promises free colour TV sets. BJP free power to farmers Some others free education till college. Court should take note of this and dismiss the government that does not fulfill the promise given to the electorate. If promises are not kept, the elected government has no moral authority to stay in power.

Even though TN Government kept the promise patially, it is not fully kept.

Likewise there should be a law which prohibts Government both Central and State to waive off huge amounts like Rs.60000 Crore loan waived off by UPA. The UPA Government is not paying the amount from the party fund. It is the tax payers money which is being so carelessly used. If UPA does not come to power-in all probability it is doubtful due to inflation- the next Government has to bear the burgden.
