Uma Bharti had problems with Pramod Mahajan & Munde has openly declared Pramod Mahajan as his idol.May be the problem between Uma & Pramod was not caste based, but power/politics base.
Modi's competetors Keshu Patel(now) & ShankarSingh Vaghela(before), none of them either Brahmin or Bania. They both belong to a caste which is on the border line of OBC. In the past these both castes(of Patels' & Vaghelas') voluntarily & forcefully rejected their inclusion into SC/OBC title.
