Tiger conservation
by Badrasamy on Apr 25, 2008 10:58 AM

I am not understanding why people are so crazy. This statement was given not with an intension to keep tamilians high. It is make the readers to understand that under what pressure my co-foresters are working in other states and what difficulties they are facing in conserving the tigers. In many States where militancy is a problem the forest staff are not provided with government vehicles because they will be blown by these militant gangs. They cannot carry weapons as this will be a liability to them. Armed gangs are threat to tiger conservation in the border states. These situations are not there in Tamilnadu. Similarly Tamilnadu Police never allows any terrorist gangs operating in the jungle. Very recently also they have shot dead an extremist in the jungle. Hence the statement was given in this context. Not to hurt any one's feeling. What I feel is, we have not become human and still we have to go a long gain the characters of a human being. Beasts are better than us.
