You are right. BJP seems to be party that has lost its soul, its purpose. At one time BJP had the mantle of being disciplined, upright, non-criminalized, democratic party - perhaps even a "Hindu party". Over the years, with completely inefficient performance in states after state markets with in-party bickering and fighting, corrupt politicians, being out of touch with common man, have reduced it be a political party just like any other. No wonder it had been consigned to be "national" party with just a handful of states. What a sorry state to be in, on its path to further marginalization...
