Look at the Present
by Pulsar on Apr 21, 2008 06:42 AM

Guys and Girls, stop arguing about history for a moment and look at the Present. I am not merely talking about one group oppressing other. I am talking about the laws of the countries. Look at the Islamic countries and how they openly have laws against people practicing other religions. If you practice any non-Islamic religion in Saudi Arabia, the State will punish you. Most Islamic nations have blasphemy laws. So if you are a Muslim who converts to a different religion, you can be executed.

Also, let us remove poverty from the equation by looking at educated Muslims in western countries. In Europe, these guys were advocating Jihad against their own nations long before Iraq or Afghan war. When Mohammed cartoons were published in a Denmark paper, Muslims in the UK openly carried out rallies where they advocated suicide bombings against Britain. What relation does the UK government have with the Denmark paper?

Let us come to the case of Iraq itself. The Jihadists in Iraq have killed their own Muslim brothers and sisters more than the US forces did. The Jihadis are torturing people of their own religion. And yet, the supporters of Islamic Jihad refuse to see even this simple truth. When Abu Ghraib scandal got out, all Muslims expressed their outrage. Muslims made a big show when Mohammed cartoons were published. But why do Muslims keep quiet when their own Jihadists kill other Muslims? Why do they keep quiet when Jihadists commit acts of terror?
