Hyde act and India's acceptance
by Kris on Apr 16, 2008 05:22 PM

Does it matter whether India agrees to Hyde act or not...the fact is India would rely on nuclear fuel on NSG- which is an organization created by US and other western powers who want to prevent any developing country from reaching self sufficiency.
If India signs the nuclear deal, she would always be at the mercy of US and NSG for running the power plants ( if they ever see the day).
US can cut off the fuel supply any time India does not toe its line.

It is time for Congress to apologize to Indian people for misleading Indian public on this very important issue. Also, those who supported the deal should be kicked out from Congress party, including Sonia.
