Lets drive public awareness through forums such as this one. Lets urge Rediff to start an initiative to raise awareness about transport safety norms for school children. The road worthiness of vehicles, qualifications of drivers, vehicle identification (a specific color for school buses), etc. But the subject of safety in public transport is a much wider one. However, public opinion could make a difference there as well.
