Concept of god in hinduism
by JGN on Apr 14, 2008 07:11 PM

The ancient sages of our Country believed that the universe originated from a Single Primial Principle called SAT and whatever way we worship, the same ultimately reaches that Primal Principle (SAT). That was the reason for the religious tolerance in India for the natives of our country, worshipping Jesus or Allah was also another form of worhsip.

Unlike the jealous gods of West Asia (Jewish, Christian and Muslim - each one of them insisting that only their god is "true" and every one's else is "false") the Indian gods were not having any problem if some other god/gods are also worshipped.

(I do not beleive in any god but this message to clear the misunderstanding among the believers).
