Who is a backward
by Alok Kapoor on Apr 12, 2008 04:04 PM

Dr. Yadav? How did you become a doctor, if you are so backward, when there was no reservation for backwards? This is because the cry of being discriminated against is a wolves cry. Why should you and your children get any extra benefits compared to me or my children. If you are backward you are responsible for the backwardness. Shastri ji swam across the Ganga to provide himself with an education. A rickshaw puller's daughter in Nagpur meritoriously got through the Maharashtra PMT about 4-5 years ago. The girl who irons the clothes of my household has just completed a course in Computers and got a job with Infosys. Where there is a will there is a way. How long will you keep on crying that you have been discriminated against - I remember the story of the wolf and the lamb. The lamb was drinking water at a stream down stream of where the wolf was drinking. The wolf admonishes the lamb - "How dare you dirty my water?" The lamb meekily says "But sir, I am drinking the water after you have had it." The wolf replies " Then your ancestors must have dirtied it". I am sick of listening to your lament that my ancestors are the cause of your backwardness. All I know is that my ancestors had to leave their home in North West Frontier Province and move South Eastwards (as far as East Bengal) in search of a livelihood rather than succumb to the Muslim invaders. And dear Dr. Yadav in this flight they must have been helped by your ancestors who lived on the banks of the Ganges and the Yamu
