reservation while compensation certain oppressed communities can come across as a penalty for the perpetrators. in fact people from the perpetrators communities ask why should be punished for faults they personally didn't commit. what they fail to understand is that reservation is about effecting a communal correction in indian society and individuals belonging to the perpetrator communities should accept this with grace.
