RE:No support for Tibet
by Loan Shark on Apr 13, 2008 06:21 AM

LOL ... waste of space? that's a lame argument used when you don't have an argument ... if you don't want waste of space, don't write at all, because what you write is in deed a waste of space. and who is raman, and what is his letter to amir khan so important?

1. ethnicity - kashmir had a majority of muslims at independece ... pakistan is supporting the muslims there to lead a separatist movement. any attempt by Indian govt. to support freedom of tibet from china, constitutes an act of support to separatism ... why is it so difficult for you to understand?

demographics - kashmir is in mountains, tibet is a plateau - roof of the world ... tibet is connected to china and has a longer border than kashmir has with mainland India.

special status - that was granted by India to kashmir ... which in fact makes kashmir different from other Indian states. tibet is part of china and enjoys no special status

pak involvement to extreme - when pak is involved, we call it to extreme, when we do it, it is not. talk about yr double standards LOL ... Indian govt. should just stay out of it.

legal/not forceful - tibet is legally part of China ... india-pakistan and have fought wars over kashmir ... Indian govt. should stay out of tibet issue ... if we openly support tibet's separatist movement, we could face a war with China.
