As a brahmin, born in India having made my way to US after clearing all the hurdles of reservation I had mixed feelings today. I was sworn in as US citizen and lost my Indian citizenship. I was happy to become citizen of US but at the same time was sad about losing Indian citizenship. After reading this news I am no more sad. I am glad I became US citizen. In India, Brahmins have become whipping boys for all. If you look all the atrocities on Dalits are committed by OBCs! not brahmins. Brahmins have been marginalized for long. There is no reason why a brahmin should love India anymore. India is no longer a country that wants them or treats them justly. All Brahmins should make an effort to immigrate to Canada,US, Australia etc. This is new era of persecution in India. Brahmins should not join the army nor salute tiranga or sing national anthem anymore. India is not for them and will never be anymore. They are new "untouchables" of India. Get out of India NOW, if you can before Arjun's and Paswans take whatever is left from you in the name of social justice.
