The Islamic fundamentalim reared its ugly head after the Revolution ( ? ) in Iran lead by the late A. Khomeni. Till then the Muslims the world over were trying to integrate with rest of the society. I do not think there were any animosity towards the muslims till about 30 years back.
The genie is out of the bottle now and it require considerable time and efforts to put that back into the bottle.
The enlightened Muslims themselves have to come forward and make their co-religionists understand the situation. If anybody else tell them, they will feel offended.
Btw Mr. Balaord, do you have any idea what the "Islamic Utopia" is?? Even TV was banned in Afghanistan under the Taliban rule! Do you want to live under such conditions?
