Specifically the win over the Mohhamad ni Gali near Haji Pir is really inspiring. The Maratha history has been dsitroyed by the British. Marathas fought with Mughals for 23 years. Aurangzeb himself came with his all his might to Maharashtra, but could not win over Maharashtra and finally was burried in Maharashtra. Marathas scored several victories over British. Especially at the see they kept the British at the bay. During 1857 war of Independence Maratha warriers did a commendable job.
