truth behind Kashmir
by Dangerous on Apr 08, 2008 03:51 PM

During the time of the partition of India in 1947 all the states were given the right, under the Indian Independence Act, to accede either to India or to Pakistan. Giving display of his political wisdom and capacity for taking decisions, the then Union Home Minister, Sardar Patel, succeeded in merging about 600 states with the Indian union. But the matter of Jammu and Kashmir was kept by Pt. Nehru in his hands. His national outlook and his capacity to take decisions were eclipsed by his affection for Abdullah and his animosity with Maharaja Hari Singh... Because of his affection for Abdullah Nehru was banned frm entering into Kashmir... when Nehru violated the ban and entered into Kashmir, he was arrested....this turned him against the Maharaja Hari singh...reason why Hari singh delayed merger of Kashmir with India was because of attitude of Nehru...But for the sake of safety of millions of Hindus Maharaja signed the merger agreement but inspite of this Pandit Nehru didnt send force to protect Kashmir for 3 days...when force was finally sent nd Nehru handed the command of Indian army to traitor Sheikh Abdullah who didnt allow army to recapture POK...Because of Nehru love for Abdullah India is still paying a huge price for Kashmir
