Gujarat needs modi and it deserves modi because of which it elected him. He is bringing about excellent governance by which all consituents - hindus, muslims, rich, poor etc are benefitting. A muslim from gujarat had run away after the riots to bengal (the so called secular land and peaceful land). He returned after a couple of years stating that gujarat was better than bengal is all aspects - economically, socially, safety wise, etc.

firstly, 58 innocent men, women and children were burnt alive in godhra. As a reaction riots errupted wherein about 1000 people died which included 700 muslims and 260 hindus. These were riots as both communities suffered casualties. In planned events only one community would die like in nandigram or in sikh riots or as in kashmir valley where pandits died.
