RE:Mahatma Gandhi
by prakash haranahalli on Apr 07, 2008 11:26 AM

MK Gandhi was a nice person but, I don't think he was a good leader. If you look back to our freedom fighting days, its true from many peoples' biographies that Gandhi was eccentric, demanding, filled with ego, dictatorial, manipulative and always tried to suppress the people who wanted to come up.
Also it is true that through-out his freedom struggle, he always pleased the Muslim brothers. He never payed any homage to leaders like Bhaghat Singh, SC Bose. He was very much determined in his work, but he has used that for both good and bad means. So, that way, Gandhi was(is) an ordinary man. It was SC Bose who called Gandhi as Bapu / Father of Nation. But, unfortunately, Gandhi never honoured SC Bose! so poor politics!!!
