After all, all are same. A poor man is poor whether he speaks Tamil or Kannada. Every leader should not see these basics differently. To give in is a sign of magnanimity, not weakness. Compromise is peace! Others will give in more, take all you require and leave only the balance! It is such a good feeling from personal experience!
Emotions are the worst enemy. Once they are out of the equation, reality stares relentlessly at us. I made a post that Rajni could have sort of mediated in the whole process than siding with one. I also said he may have some explaining to do when the dust settles down and rue a missed opportunity. He has already done the explaining! I got some brickbats, obviously!
Peace is always the better alternative. We can share what we have or at least the misery, if we do not have any! How can I waste water when my neighbour is thirsty? Just extrapolate to a state level, country etc.
