BJP forming Govt in centre depends upon the no of seats it gets in TN out of the total 40 after allying with ADMK. Though UPA is losing popularity BJP had not gained big popularity to get 300 plus seats in the centre and hence it needs to rely on ADMK to form Govt in centre as now UPA relies on DMK. The expected BJP Govt in Karnataka will oppose the Hogenakkal project and will not get votes in TN even if it allies with ADMK & MDMK. This backlog will stall BJP's progress in centre. It may be recalled when Advani stated that allying with ADMK in 2004 elections in TN resulted in loosing all the 40 seats which ultimately hit the BJP at national level though the wavw was against Jaya last time.Now the same wave will repeat if BJP allies with Jaya. If Jaya is smart she should go alone and win the maximum seats and then help BJP if required otherwise the combine loose all the seats in TN in 2009 !
