I sincerely request rediff to stop Discussion Board with immediate effect. This may a act as a spark to a fuel.
We Indians are very emotional and its quite difficult for us to communicate and put our views on a objective level. We get carried away with our sentiments and end abusing each other or on broader level at state level.
I have been reading the comments posted here for a quite a while now. I knew we are emotional but i thought we also have potential to fight against common cause if there is any harm to our mother land.
But alas, I am constantly proven long. When there are more important issues like Tibet conflict, US slowdown, Euro Games, Olympic games, we are still stuck on the issues of Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Tamilian etc.
On a public forum like this one, we are abusing each other at the lowest level. I wonder these literate people have atleast some sense as to what impression it might be giving to the people outside world.
I cant expect these people to stop but I atleast look up to rediff to stop this discussion board and avoid one means to create havoc.
